It's important to note that the NFC technology, which powers the Tap to Pay feature, is available on Android phones and not on iPhones. However, for those with iPhones, Swwipe offers a range of other payment options, including Pinpad, Bank Transfers, USSD, and Payment gateway.
To use the ‘Tap to pay’ feature, make sure you have the following;
NFC-enabled smartphone.
NFC-enabled debit/credit card (customer’s card)
The Swwipe Mobile App (available on Google Playstore and Apple AppStore).

What type of phones can I use for the Tap-to-pay option?
Your device must be NFC-enabled to use the Tap-to-payoption. Also, you have to download the Swwipe app and ensure the card used isa contactless card with the ‘inverted wifi’ sign on it.
Which payment options are available on the Swwipe app?
We have the Tap-to-pay option, USSD, Bank transfers and Card payment options. To accept card payments, you will need to purchase a pinpad on the Swwipe app, however, this is optional if you are exploring other payment options.
How do I know the type of Swwipe product suitable for my business?
Regardless of your business type, we have a product suitable for it. For businesses without a website but have a physical store, we recommend the Swwipe app. For businesses with only a website, you can integrate our Swwipe payment gateway to your checkout page and for those with both physical and online, we recommend both the app and payment gateway.
